The basis for this system is the specific interaction between two non-biological molecules, phenyl(di)boronic acid (P(D)BA) and salicylhydroxamic acid (SHA). Under conditions typical for bioseparation, Versalinx complex formation is robust and highly specific and enables the immobilization of P(D)BA conjugated biospecific ligands to SHA modified Agarose facilitating affinity separations.

描述： Transport Protein Delivery Reagent is a revolutionary new tool for non-cytotoxic delivery of biologically active cargo molecules (proteins, peptides, or small molecules) directly into live cells. Transport Reagent allows you to quickly and easily study cell and protein function, while avoiding the problems of DNA transfections (promoter interference, variable levels of transfection). This newly discovered peptide (patent pending) translocates itself as well as attached cargo molecules into cultured cells when added to the culture medium. Transport Reagent-Cargo Complex delivery is very efficient (up to 100% of cultured primary cells or cell lines) and allows rapid analysis of the unharmed transduced cells.

The conjugation of Transport Reagent and a cargo molecule occurs through the 2-pyridyldithio group on the reagent which forms a disulfide bond with any free thiol (cysteine) situated on the cargo molecule. Coupling of Transport Reagent with cargo molecules is a simple process ?simply incubate appropriate amounts of each component at room temperature for 15-30 minutes, dilute with culture medium and apply to culturing cells.
Transport Reagent is supplied as a lyophilized powder, which can be reconstituted with water, aliquoted and stored frozen. 400 ug of Transport Reagent is sufficient for 40-80 reactions in a 6-well or 35-mm dish, or 700-1,400 reactions in a 96-well plate. A Beta-Galactosidase control is supplied to allow testing and optimization of your experimental parameters.
